Student Representative Council of The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic, Saki elected their executive members yesterday Tuesday 13th Nov., 2018.  In the election Hon. Ojo Ibrahim from Business Administration Constituency defeated Hon. Adegunju Dolapo from Comp. Science constituency by 8 to 7 votes, for the post of Chief Whip. Hon. Aremu Isaac from Civil engineering constituency unopposed was pronounced the clerk of the House. 

In course of the election an objection was raised by Hon. Abodunrin Oluwatosin from Accountancy Constituency "that the elected Clerk has no right to vote according to a constitution". In the same section, it was established that no SRC Constitution backed such agitation. After so much argument and other agitation from other honourable in the house. The Directorate of Student Affairs then intervened; he threw light to the issue of “constitution". Proceeding with the election of the Deputy Speaker, which Hon. Rasaq Semiu Ojo from Quantity Surveying constituency defeated Hon. Agoro Muideen from Agric. Technology constituency by 8 to 7 votes.

 
Over to The Senate President (Speaker) election, Hon. Oluwatosin T. Abodunrin from Accountancy constituency loss to Hon. Musa Oluwadamilare from Science Laboratory Technology constituency 7 to 8 votes.

After the election, the house was commended by some electoral committee member. The honourables were implored not to create a problem they cannot solve, work in line with the constitution of the house and represent their constituency with fairness
